New heritage walks this summer
Take part in a new heritage experience in Norfolk on our new Paston Footprint heritage walks. They offer a range of ways, for all ages, to connect with the Paston heritage in the beautiful landscapes and buildings where the stories happened.
Enter our walk photography competition and family griffin competition for a chance to win local prizes. Find out about the rebel Paston women on the narrated audio tours.
You might even spot a Paston if you go on one of the walks: characters from Norfolk’s historic Paston family will be popping up at key Norfolk locations this summer to create a promotional film.
Please note that due to the ongoing Covid pandemic, we have created resources for you to enjoy the Paston trails as self-guided walk experiences and there are free family activities. They offer the chance to escape the crowds by exploring lesser known parts of Norfolk off the beaten track. We hope you enjoy your walk.

We’re inviting everybody who enjoys one of our walks - any age, professional or amateur - to upload their pictures to social media and tag #pastonfootprints for the chance to win some fantastic local prizes, with three winners every month and a special prize for overall summer and autumn winners.
Family competition
Can you help us name the Paston griffin?
The winning name will receive a family Festive Express experience at the Bure Valley Railway.
